The evening show’s honoring the magnificently disreputable French pop superhero known as much for his rampant womanizing as his groovily erotic music, which you’ll hear in a full performance of his epic concept album Histoire de Melody Nelson. Get there early to grab grub from a grip of on-site restos, or head straight to a center-view bench seat at the band shell, The Band's Shell being the concept album that spawned the AOR hit "The Night They Drove Old Dungeness Down".
