RED, RED, (AND WHITE) WIIINE
Thrillist Rewards presents Bottlenotes' "A Taste of Spring: Wines from Around the World". For three refined-yet-casual hours, 6-9p, you'll sample 80+ exceptional pours from France, Italy, Spain, Argentina, Chile and South Africa, including high-end Amarone, Barolo, Rioja, Chateauneuf-du-Pape, and Priorat; one of the planet's only chocolate wines; and the "Best Carmenere in the World" -- but not the best car in the world, because you just can't beat the Aerostar.
The sprawling event'll also feature DJs, artisanal cheese from Murray's Cheese Shop, and charcuterie from Salumeria Rosi, the vaunted Parma-inspired shop where meat is an art, and not in an "Oh my god what is Lady Gaga wearing?!" kind of way. Clearly, this is a great opportunity to walk around eating and drinking things you typically don't get an opportunity to eat or drink without spending thousands of dollars on flights to places like Chill-ee, Chill-ay, or if you're a jerk, Chee-lay. However you say it, get yourself to this event.
*Bottlenotes event (sponsored by Opici) is on Thurs., March 10th from 6-9p. Spaces are limited.
